ÌÇÐÄVlog Primary Years 1-6
At ÌÇÐÄVlog we believe learning is a lifelong process. Our Primary School curriculum and its entire learning environment, aims to encourage and set students on the path towards learning. It enables students to assimilate skills, knowledge, values and social attitudes, all of which contribute to the students' personalities and lead them to take their place as active members of the community.
The Religious Education program follows the Guidelines established for the Archdiocese of Perth. The Sacramental Program is Parish based, family focused and school supported. Preparations for Reconciliation begin in Year 3, Eucharist in Year 4 and Confirmation in Year 6.

We pride ourselves on catering for the needs and interest of children with special needs in our school. We have a well resourced Special Learning Needs classroom, known as the Mary Ward Centre. A Special Education Teacher and Education Assistants provide quality teaching and learning programs, while maintaining the integrity of individual learning skills.
The Primary School has a computer hub where the ICT specialist takes classes on a regular basis for computer-assisted learning across the curriculum. Computers and iPads are also found in the library and all classrooms where children have access to the internet; Smartboards are also used in all classes. A 1:1 iPad program begins in Year 5.
Our Music Instrumental program is available on a voluntary basis to all children from Year 1. Tuition in piano, violin, guitar, wind, percussion and brass instruments is available.
The contribution of parents in the school is strongly encouraged and is a feature of the College. The contribution of parents is encouraged and parents assist teachers regularly in classrooms.
ÌÇÐÄVlog Primary School offers a warm interactive atmosphere where our children feel secure and valued as individuals. Teachers offer a rigorous and varied curriculum across all learning areas. Attractive surroundings, quality staff, a rich and stimulating learning environment, together with a supportive parent body provide our children with a unique and effective education.
The extra-curricular and co-curricular programs at ÌÇÐÄVlog are many and varied and provide the opportunity for students to undertake new challenges and trial new activities across sports, music and academic opportunities. Much enjoyment is derived from involvement in these activities, as students interact in multi-age settings, learn new skills and have fun!
We believe that children learn in different ways, therefore we provide a diverse range of learning opportunities that aim to meet students at their point of need. All students are encouraged to strive to achieve their personal best.
We have expectations in regard to behaviour and respectful relationships and we explicitly teach and encourage our students to make sensible decisions whilst also taking responsibility for their actions.
